Today we said thankyou and farewell to Fred Adamson and his wife Elsie. Fred served with the KOYLI (Polar Bears) serving through WWII landing on DDay. Fighting through to Germany in the most challenging of battles he was wounded at Poppel but returned to fight on. We were honoured to be asked by his family to erect their headstone at Conisbrough.
