The 4th October 2024 saw the recognition from the Armed Forces community in Doncaster for the work of all members of the Victoria Cross Trust. We were nominated in two categories - Business of the Year and Volunteer of the Year (Keith Lumley) for the work undertaken by all to maintain the memorials and graves of VC recipients as well as educating the public in their stories and those of their colleagues within the military. Extra work on top of this goes on in the VCT supporting veterans and cadets alike with projects such as the graves research and inspection that culminated with a presentation at the Doncaster Mansion House by cadets to the civic mayor and guests.
Well we won both categories ! Immensely proud of all of those involved and who support us in our endeavours.
