The Victoria Cross Trust were once again at Lakeside Doncaster over the weekend with an explosion of military displays from the Zulu Wars to the Cold War era. These were supported by our dancing enthusiasts and re-enactors bringing with them period costumes and military artefacts to help raise funds for the Trust and enable us to maintain our programme of grave and memorial cleans and restorations conducted by our teams of veteran volunteers. Thankyou to Lakeside Village for allowing us to display once again, our Vintage DJ Paddy OKaye. Special thanks to Mick Hartman photography for supplying photographs that captured the enjoyment that visitors and volunteers experienced this weekend.
All made possible through support and funding received as part of the Maintaining the Memories project from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund.
